CONSENT AND PRIVACY POLICY

CONSENT TO USE THE IMAGES

The PREVENT4WORK project intends to disseminate the project activities, including the organization of the Symposium.

As indicated in the Symposium rules:

  • Documents submitted are confidential. However, the PREVENT4WORK project and Fundación Universidad San Jorge will be allowed to disseminate the name of the participants and the abstract and/or video they submit.
  • Participants consent to be photographed and videotaped, as well as to the use of these photos and videos with promotional purposes in any social media, in the context of the Symposium.

Therefore, the participant, having fully read and understood the PREVENT4WORK Symposium rules, STATES THAT:

1.- She/he hereby consents that Universidad San Jorge may, free of charge and without any temporal or territorial limitation, reproduce, distribute, publicly disseminate, and use in any media, expressly including the Universidad San Jorge website:

  • The abstract and/or video the participant sends to the Symposium.
  • The participant’s image and/or voice included in both the materials sent to the Symposium (if any) and the interviews, events, and recordings that could take place during the events held in relation to the Symposium or award reception (if any).

This consent is conditioned to the fact that images and their dissemination respect the participant’s personal honour and dignity.

2.- Participation in this Symposium will mean the exclusive assignment to Universidad San Jorge of the participant’s rights to the submitted materials and projects, except their inalienable rights, for their public dissemination and reproduction in any media or system.

Particularly, dissemination will take place in press media, radio and television, as well as in the following social media:

3.– She/he guarantees that the submitted abstract/video is original and has never been published, and that she/he has the consent of any third party appearing in the submitted video to enter the Symposium.

All the above is certified for any legal purpose and otherwise by checking the acceptance checkbox of the application form.

INFORMATION ABOUT PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The controller of the participant’s personal data will be FUNDACIÓN UNIVERSIDAD SAN JORGE (or “the University”), with CIF-G99047672, and registered address at Campus Universitario San Jorge, Autovía A-23 Zaragoza- Huesca, Km. 299, 50830 Villanueva de Gállego, Zaragoza, SPAIN. info@usj.es – (+34) 976 060 100. The University has a Data Protection Officer in the Legal Department/DPD, who can be contacted by phone: (+34) 976 060 100; or by email: privacidad@usj.es.

Universidad San Jorge processes your personal data with the only purpose of managing and providing services regarding the symposium you are entering. The University is legally entitled to process your personal data concerning the symposium, and the entry to such symposium is hereby legalised.

Universidad San Jorge guarantees that personal data are processed in a lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner, and that they are collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes, limiting to such purposes and kept up to date if necessary. Identification of the parties will not be permitted for longer than is necessary, and their security will be ensured by means of the appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Your data can be disclosed to the proper legal entities and/or when mandatory by laws or regulations, and to those entities involved in the symposium management, as well as to the group of experts that will assess the submitted projects. The applicant can request detailed information about such entities and/or the purposes of the aforementioned disclosures at the following email address: privacidad@usj.es.

Data will be kept during the period of validity of the symposium for the indicated purposes. Later on, data will be stored as long as applicable regulations state, and then will be destroyed.

You can withdraw your consent or exercise your rights to access, to rectification, to erasure,  to object, to restriction of processing and to data portability of personal data, by submitting a copy of a proof of identity to the registered address of the University, in Autovía A-23 Zaragoza- Huesca, Km. 299, 50830 Villanueva de Gállego, Zaragoza, SPAIN; or by sending an email to privacidad@usj.es
